Terms of Use
Effective date: July 11, 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and participation in FaithAlert, a Ministry Intelligence System for approved churches. By registering a church or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility & Registration
FaithAlert is available to churches and their authorized members. Church registrations are reviewed and approved by FaithAlert administrators before access is granted. Church administrators assign roles — pastor, elder, deacon, security, staff, or member — and are responsible for confirming that members they add have consented to their information being stored and used for security coordination purposes.
Acceptable Use
You agree to submit incident reports accurately and in good faith, and to describe individuals using observable characteristics only — never full names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, or other sensitive personal information, in report text or attached photos. You agree not to misuse the regional alert network, impersonate another person or church, or attempt to access data outside your authorized region or role.
Content You Submit
You retain ownership of the incident reports, photos, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant FaithAlert a license to display and distribute it to verified churches within your monitored region, consistent with the app's stated purpose and our Privacy Policy — except that medical incident content is shared only within your own church and never broadcast to the wider network.
Not an Emergency Service
FaithAlert is a communication and coordination tool between churches. It is not a substitute for calling 911 or local law enforcement in an emergency. Reports of active threats or emergencies should always be directed to emergency services first.
Intelligence Reports & Briefings
National OSINT Intelligence Reports and Daily Local Security Briefings are compiled from open-source news and public safety data and are provided for general situational awareness. FaithAlert does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of third-party source material referenced in these reports.
Referral Program
Members may refer other churches to join FaithAlert. Referrals are reviewed by administrators, and approved referrals result in an invitation to the referred church. Submitting a referral does not guarantee approval.
Suspension & Termination
FaithAlert administrators may suspend or remove a church's or member's access for violating these terms, misusing the network, or submitting false or malicious reports. Churches may request deactivation of their account at any time by contacting a FaithAlert administrator.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
FaithAlert is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaithAlert and its administrators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including reliance on incident reports, alerts, or intelligence briefings submitted or generated by the network.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of FaithAlert after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
